Vikrum Aiyer joined the San Francisco-based climate technology company Heirloom as the head of global public policy in 2022. During his time in this role, he has helped the company innovate in the carbon-capture space and forward the United States Energy Dominance agenda. Vikrum Aiyer facilitates high-quality workforce development at Heirloom, helps the company expand its partnerships in the carbon-removal industry, and strives to generate new investor interest in addition to developing all of Heirloom's global policies.
Mr. Aiyer was appointed to the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers program. The mayor of San Francisco named him a commissioner on the Workforce Investment Board. He maintains additional board positions with the Chamber of Progress and YIMBY Action.
Vikrum Aiyer studied political science at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2017, he was appointed a Public Policy Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. His professional achievements include being featured on the Forbes Magazine 30 Under 30 and the San Francisco Business Times 40 Under 40 lists.
